All Saints Lathbury

All Saints lies at the heart of the small rural village of Lathbury, about a mile from the parish church in Newport Pagnell. We aim to act as a focal point for the village and further afield. There are regular services on the 1st Sunday of the month at 9.15 am. These include a mixture of festival services (Harvest, carols, Easter etc) and communion services.

We hope that you can join us, we offer offer a warm welcome, and refreshments!

The church plays an important part in many aspects of village life and community events. The villagers very much value the church and have shown great commitment to its preservation, having raised over £90,000 in the last two decades towards its upkeep and restoration.

Village and church events are varied and popular, we are often joined from visitors from Newport Pagnell and other villages. Come and enjoy such occasions as our Annual Boules Tournament, Fuchsias and more event and Christmas Quiz; details on the village web-site.

Our Building

All Saints Church stands in a beautiful, well maintained, rural churchyard. It is a Grade 1 listed building and may lie on Saxon foundations. All Saints is possibly the oldest church in North Buckinghamshire.

Inside you will find some beautiful features including the remains of medieval wall paintings, a beautiful stained glass window by Nuttgens and the recently restored church clock.

Weddings at All Saints

Many people recognise what a special setting All Saints Church makes for their wedding day. It is an historical building standing in a beautiful, rural setting in the heart of a village 

The church comfortably seats around 110 guests, making it an intimate venue for a wedding. There is a full peal of bells, the oldest dates from 1614 and the organ was donated in 1843.                                         

You are entitled to marry here if either you or your partner live in Lathbury, Newport Pagnell or Moulsoe or you have links with any of the churches in those parishes. There may also be other circumstances in which permission may be granted.

We are more than happy to help with your arrangements and can provide flowers for your ceremony.
