Pause for Thought in Newport Pagnell Parish Church

Drop in any time between 10am and 4pm
Thursday 10th May to Saturday 12th May 2018

An opportunity to take time out in a calm and peaceful environment to think about situations we face, reflect on our feelings and consider our own values and beliefs. A number of reflective areas will be set up around the church based on that well-known prayer, The Lord’s Prayer. This is not a church service – it’s a free interactive exhibition for you to wander round at your own pace. Refreshments will be available as well as activities and a small play area for children. Fuchsias and More - Lathbury village church - 12.00pm to 5.00pm

Free entry and parking.

Huge Fuchsia and Plant stall, Gardening advice, Vintage tea garden, Live music, Arts, Crafts and Produce stalls, Rural demonstrations

 

Sunday Club walk around Bury Common - Sunday 3rd June

Sunday Club is planning a Sunday afternoon walk around Bury Common, starting in the Queens Avenue car park at 2pm.  The walk will be suitable for buggies and has been planned with the young and young at heart in mind.  The congregations of both churches are invited to join us.  Please feel free to bring along parents, children, grandparents, grandchildren, aunties, uncles, friends, neighbours, dogs, neighbours' dog!– everybody welcome.  Bring along a picnic too.

Newport Pagnell Vintage Event - 9th June

The Town Council are planning a 1940’s themed Vintage Event for Saturday 9th June this year. We plan to take part by opening the Parish Church, providing refreshments, 1940’s music, a display of historic photographs and hourly prayers for peace and reconciliation.

Buckinghamshire Historic Churches 'Ride and Stride'

The Parish church will be open from 10.00am to 6.00pm to greet those taking part in this charitable event. Refreshments will be available. For more details click here
